Arrive Delhi International Airport. Note: If you are travelling on an evisa please ensure you are carrying a hardcopy of the approval with you and you should go to the counters at the end of the Immigration hall. You will meet our travel executive after collecting your luggage & passing customs at arrival hall who will assist you with your transfer to hotel. After a delicious breakfast you will be taken on a full day sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid – the largest mosque in India. Enjoy Cycle Rickshaw ride at Old Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar and drive through the Lutyens Delhi, India Gate (The war memorial), President’s Palace & Parliament House. Evening is free to relax or you can explore the city on your own. Overnight stay in Delhi.
OVERNIGHT STAY AT HOTEL
Enjoy a lip-smacking breakfast at your hotel. Then you will be transferred to Delhi’s domestic airport to board your flight to Amritsar. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
Morning half-day tour of Amritsar visiting Golden Temple also called Sri Harmandir Sahib which was laid by Guru Ram Das in the 14th century. Also visit Jalianwala. Afternoon visit to Wagha Border (India-Pakistan Border) to witness beating retreat ceremony. Overnight stay in Amritsar.
After breakfast depart for Dharamshala – home to Dalai Lama. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
Today you will visit The Dalai Lama Complex which contains the Dalai Lama’s residence, The Tsuglagkhang Monastery & The Tibet Museum. Dharamshala also have the highest altitude cricket stadium. Overnight stay in Dharamshala.
In the morning after breakfast you will be driven to Pragpur – a declared Heritage Village in 1997. This place is the home of the famous Kangra School of Painting. Rest of the day is free to relax. Overnight stay in Pragpur.
Today you will explore the Heritage village which will include a short walk around the village market and Lala Rerumal’s Haveli built in the year 1930. Overnight stay in Pragpur.
Today enjoy the scenic drive to Shimla. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Today you will visit the famous Mall Road & Shimla State Museum which preserves the ancient archeological human works. Next, you will visit the ancient Jakhoo Temple, dedicated to Hindu deity, Hanuman. Afternoon excursion to Kufri –which is the most popular tourist spot around Shimla at an altitude of 2510 mtrs. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Today you will be transferred to Shimla railway station to board the famous Toy Train to Kalka where you will explore the lush green misty mountains. At Kalka board the chair car train to Delhi. Overnight stay in Delhi.
The tour will be finished by your transfer to Delhi International airport to connect your onward flight to next destination
